I directed Tropic Isle Living's online store migration from WooCommerce to Shopify, managing a committee of 5, including the marketing and design teams.

Project Description

Tropic Isle Living needed to migrate their busy online storefront from WooCommerce to Shopify. They needed a faster site that had a more user-friendly checkout process and highlighted product imagery better.

I directed the platform migration, managing a committee of 5, including the marketing and design teams. The project included implementing a redesign and translating product images, descriptions, and customer data from over 10,000 customers. This also included custom-programming their theme using Shopify's Liquid templating language and API.

They were able to keep their existing online storefront up and running during the platform migration, and the migration itself went without a sinch.
